Professional Staff--Dr. Rebecca Thompson
Dr. Rebecca Thompson, PhD, LPCC, has been on the staff of Pathways since 1993. She graduated from Kent State University and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Becky is well-grounded in the agency, having started with Pathways as an intern. She worked at Coleman Professional Services in Ravenna for five years before returning to Pathways. Becky is particularly gifted in working with middle-aged women who are dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, issues related to post-traumatic stress, and transitions. Becky uses a wealth of personal experience and professional expertise in identifying with her clients and helping them to successfully reach their counseling goals. Becky's other backgrounds include being a musician and a registered nurse. Becky also has a Master's in Theology degree and is another counselor on staff able to serve clients who would like their spiritual values included in their counseling.
